I use 3ml syringes with 27. I haven't tried 30
Few days ago I tried backfilling a slin pin for some winny in oil for subq. Never ever again.

I want to thank everyone for posting up in this thread. Half the reason for the thread was to get a good conversation going and I think that was achieved. Like all of us, I want to see Kubes Corner get traction and take off. Getting these kinds of conversations going will help move things in the right direction for the forum to become more active. Much appreciated, gentlemen.

I’ve been using 27g 1/2 and 27g 5/8 for years. They work best if they are backfilled or if you have a 1ml syringe then switch the til to 27g. However using a 27g replacement tip in a 3cc syringe is a pain in the ass to push the oil.
27g is my favorite pin to use for delts, lats, and pecs. I know a lot of guys like 29g but for me they are just too hard to push the plunger. 27g seems to draw well and pin smooth for me.
I also think subQ oil injections is ridiculous. The drugs are made for IM injections. Use it as directed. Done!
Winner winner, King gets a chicken dinner. I don't want to be backfilling syringes, but I do want to try out a 1mL syringe where I switch the tips out, or say needles, to a smaller gauge. Preferably a 27G with 1/2 or 5/8 length. It sounds like this is what you're doing King. I just wanted to see if anyone was already doing this or had experience with it. I have the 27G needles by themselves, just need to get the 1mL Luer Lock syringes.
First Rule is......
